The display has been refreshed by X10 with a new LCD that has significantly better viewing angles. Now, the screen is bright and clearly visible from all sides. It also emits a green glow that is brighter so that you can see it at night.
The AC Adapter comes with a signal booster (which is now a little larger as result). This transmits the X10 signal up to 4 times stronger than the MT13A did. As a result, electrical noise on your home's wiring (due to appliances like TVs, refrigerators, and alternative lighting, among other things) is less likely to be an issue. The X10 signal is stronger to assist in overcoming the majority of line noise problems.

Up to 8 X10 Modules can be manually or automatically controlled by the X10 Mini Timer. To give your house a lived-in appearance while you are away, you may program your interior and exterior lights, appliances, and other devices to turn on and off at predetermined intervals. You can configure your stereo to wake you up "Once" only, in preparation for an early trip, or you can program your Modules to turn on and off at the same time every day (up to a total of 64 times for all 8 modules).

There is even a "Security" button that automatically changes the time you programmed each day so that your house doesn't appear to be run on a timer.

The MiniTimer's elegant LCD screen shows the time as well as the home code and the on/off state of eight gadgets that you may manage from the top.

It is possible to watch the Green Glo display day or night without pressing any buttons because the backlight is constantly on.

The Mini Timer can be left by your nightstand to wake you up on weekdays. You can use the snooze option to extend your sleep and turn off the alarm on weekends.

You may manually dim your bedside lights and turn off your child's nightlight and radio from your bed. With the stroke of a button, you can turn on EVERY light connected to Lamp Modules and Wall Switch Modules.
