The use guide:

  • The stone should be submerged in water for five minutes before being placed on a stable platform.
  • The degree of the blunt instrument determines whether to sharpen the blades in one or two steps.
  • Holding the knife at an angle between 10 and 30 degrees, gently rubbing the edge of the stone back and forth until the edge is sufficiently sharp.
  • Depending on the situation, the tool needs to be coarse ground again after being sharpened after six months. Repeat step 1 with a little more light pressure, and restore the edge until it is smooth and keen.
  •  After sharpening the tool, wipe it down with a damp towel or give it a quick rinse in water before drying. With a gentle brush, scrub the stone surface, then hang it in the air.
  • When sharpening blades, make use of the entire surface of the stone to maintain consistency. Keep the stone well-protected and keep it from falling from the height.
  • Any sharpening oil would produce significantly superior sharpening results.
