Disconnect all devices. nothing is connected to anything. Remove all pump connections, as well as every plug-socket. Do all of these diagnostic tests on your workbench after that. This is what we mean by dry tests. Before making sure everything is in order, wait to put it all together and put it in the pool.

Connect the power supply to a wall socket you know to be reliable. Check to see if the power indicator is on before turning it off.

attach the floating cord to the power source. At the floating cord's other end, gauge the voltage output. Specifically, the voltage output at the white plug. To get contact with the tiny holes, you might require a paper clip. It need should say 30V +/- 2V. To make sure you obtain a consistent voltage measurement, wiggle the cord a little and turn the swivel back and forth. That rules out any potential partial continuity or partial short circuit issues. After that, shut off the power.

Put a drop of water on the rubber-like collar that serves as the pump seal underneath the impeller. With no harm to the seal, you can dry run the impeller for up to 20 seconds. The floating cord (white colored socket) should only be connected to the pump. Activate the power source. Under 10 seconds, the impeller should spin for a brief period before ceasing to rotate. If the pump is still functional, this indicates. 99 percent of the time, a pump is good as long as the impeller rotates. Switch off the power source.
Connect the drive motor to the black colored plug-socket while the white colored floating cable is still in place. Now switch on the power source. Within a few seconds, the drive motor and impeller should start to rotate. It doesn't matter which way the drive motor turns. If the drive motor can turn, it is a good sign. As soon as it can, off the power. Keep the drive motor seal from burning.

If the foregoing test (3) revealed that the impeller is not spinning, Directly power the drive motor's black colored socket by using a car battery. Paper clips may also be necessary. Polarity is irrelevant. If the drive motor is working properly, it will turn either right or left.

Now it is largely obvious which component has to be replaced or if there is no problem. Before pulling the socket into the pump, either heat shrink it or wrap it in electrical tape. This stops the socket/plug connection from becoming slack or even disconnecting. Remember to lubricate each seal with sealant before replacing everything and tightening the nuts. TIGHTEN THE NUTS BUT NOT TOO TIGHT. Plastic is used for the nut and thread.
