The blue, lightweight chair was designed to have the durability of metal and all the advantages of plastic. The double-hinged legs are firmly supported by two double-riveted U-braces on the grey powder-coated 18-gauge tubular steel frame. To avoid fading and rusting, the wide seat and backrest are composed of soft, curved plastic that has been colored. Replaceable glides that match the color-coordinated V-tip stability plugs provide additional reinforcement while preventing floor damage.
