The Stair Chair has a sturdy, stain-resistant, all-impervious black vinyl seat and backrest that is included. The patient is given additional protection during transportation as well as when moving upstairs or downstairs thanks to heavy-duty, 2" cross-body, fast release restraint straps.

For smoother movement on most surfaces, this stair chair has two 4.5" rear wheels and two 3.5" swivel front wheels. Transportation on flat areas is made comfortable by the foot rest and four wheels. The back two handles are used to support the chair when transferring the patient; the back handles are non-locking and are utilized for upward lift. The front and back handles make handling easier.
