This gate is pressure mounted, so for it to work correctly, pressure must be applied between an opening. When the bars are fitted, the pressure between the doorway or opening reduces the "2-inch" distance between the bars. Please take note of the Instruction Manual's top of page 3. To close the space between the handle and the gate, the gate must be fully constructed inside the doorway or aperture. Wall cups that can be put to the gate for more security are also included in the packing. The instruction manual that comes with the product's package contains all of this information. This 30" tall Easy Step walk through gate is simple to build and disassemble. This is ideal for pets as well and comes with an extension that lengthens the gate by 6" "es." The handle's lever design provides a simple one-touch release. This practical walk-through design works well for stairways and gateways. Both installing and removing it are simple.
