The SCX24TM DeadboltTM 4WD is the first 1/24 scale Axial® off-road vehicle. It offers factory-assembled ease, scale aesthetics, and confident handling on any terrain and is the ideal rig to bring along on your hiking, camping, and other outdoor and indoor excursions at less than 8" long.

Like the larger SCX10TM chassis, this smaller version uses plenty of steel components, from the C-channel frame rails to the front and rear axles and dogbones. Even over off-road, mountainous, rocky, and desert terrain, it has the strength to keep pushing on and upward. Even new modelers driving the SCX24 chassis will be well-equipped to tackle difficult climbs and rough trails.

The SCX24 chassis incorporates a three-link front and four-link rear suspension for the most dependable handling. Even at this small scale, the coil-over shocks and sturdy plastic suspension links provide Axial-worthy crawling performance. A high ground clearance and a low gear ratio that lessens torque twist are both possible with the worm gear drive configuration.

The bundled 180-size engine and LiPo battery power the SCX24 Deadbolt, which possesses charm and skill on the terrain. Observe the Deadbolt body's elongated stance, protruding hood, realistic driver figure, and molded roll cage with realistic light bar. There are officially-licensed KMC XD229 Machete Crawl wheels with Nitto Trail Grappler tires all the way down to the ground, adding to the authenticity.

The SCX24TM chassis incorporates tough and durable steel c-channel frame rails with bracing to keep everything in place and straight, just like the SCX10TM platform in 1/10th scale.

BRUSHED 88T DYNAMITE® MOTOR - To aid in climbing steep slopes, the Dynamite 88T brushed electric motor delivers just the proper amount of torque. It is attached to a steel motor mount to minimize flex, which helps safeguard the gears.

ROBOT GEARS - To transfer power to the axles and increase ground clearance, the front and rear differentials each contain a worm screw and worm gear system.

TOUGH STEEL AXLES - Steel dogbones, front stub axles, front and rear axles, and other components offer strength and durability to keep things moving during challenging climbs and rocky trails.

DRIVE SHAFTS WITH SPLINES - To maintain power to the wheels while allowing for the most suspension travel possible, the front and rear drive shafts are splined and sleeved.

ABSORBERS FOR COILOVER SHOCK - The coilover shocks with simulated reservoirs and strong plastic suspension links still provide the crawling performance you've come to know and love from Axial, even at this small scale.

SOLID AXLES IN THE FRONT AND REAR - The front and rear axles are two-piece, solid axle designs made of molded plastic. The SCX24TM suspension has a three-link front and four-link rear arrangement for the best handling.

INCLUDED LED LIGHTS - Included are two powerful LED lights that are installed in the front bumper. You may add extra LED lights using an additional port on the ESC.

REAR 4-LINK SUSPENSION - The 4-Link rear suspension geometry is used, and it is optimized to lessen axle steer and torque twist. Additional suspension links are also included so you can change the length of your wheelbase.
