Important

• Tighten the cuff as instructed in the manual before beginning the reading.
• Check your blood pressure every day at the same time. It's ideal to do this in the morning right after waking up.
• Avoid using the monitor in extremely chilly environments and when you want to urinate.
• Refrain for 30 minutes from eating, drinking, smoking, exercising, taking any medications, and taking a bath.
• Before getting a reading, sit still for five to ten minutes. When measuring, do not talk or move.
• For the reading, sit comfortably and lay your arm on a table at roughly heart level.
• Remember that your blood pressure can change considerably in just a few minutes.
• You can choose to average your most recent three readings for the highest level of accuracy.
