Aquarium Reef Coral LED Strip 445 nm BLUE Actinic Light 12" 1 ft 18 stunner LEDs

The top and sides of waterproof strips are silicone-filled to shield the LEDs from moisture. Run a bead of silicone along both sides of the strip, all around any connections, plugs, and both ends of the strip to completely protect it over the long term. The chance of the LEDs shorting out increases if you do not do this. There is no safety concern because it is a 12V light. This advice is simply for long-term LED protection.
